Pompeii City

The city of Pompeii has so much to offer, even going beyond the archaeological site, that it has been made famous throughout the world. The city, in fact, is a much visited place for worship.The temple, and is one of the most important points of interest for the faithful.

The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary was built between 1876 and 1901, while the bell tower that is 80 meters high and was completed in 1925.

Thanks to the devotion of the locals and for the arrival of pilgrims from other parts of Italy, the flow of tourists and pilgrims has grown so much, that the Sanctuary required further extensions.

Relics and pictures of significant value are kept in the Sanctuary, some of these important ones are; “Our Lady of Pompei, from the 17th century of the school, Luca Giordano.
